It is important to wear gloves when working with hazardous chemicals and other materials because they protect our hands from infection and contamination. Protective gloves should be selected on the basis of the hazards involved. Nitrite gloves protect against most chemicals and infectious agents.
Define the application environment. Identify the general conditions of the workplace.
vWill activities be carried out in wet / oily, damp or dry working conditions? All our safety gloves come with one of these 3 environment classification recommendations. The degree of suitability is determined by the respective amplitude level. Working areas that do not have any moisture (water, oil, fat, cooling lubricant, etc.). Safety gloves for these conditions are extremely breathable. Examples: quality control, assembly work, distribution, ends processing. vWorking areas with some moisture. Safety gloves for these conditions are less breathable. The water/oil repelling coating is crucial and guarantees slip-resistance. Examples: oil-coated parts, changing between dry and damp working environments. vWorking areas in which hands should be protected from liquids (not chemicals). Sealed safety gloves with high slip-resistance are necessary. Examples: removing oily/wet parts from machines, outdoor activities (weather-related humidity).
Glove Inspection, Use and Care
Inspect gloves for signs of degradation or puncture before use. Test for pinholes by blowing or trapping air inside and rolling them out. Do not fill them with water, as this makes the gloves uncomfortable and may make it more difficult to detect a leak when wearing the glove.
Do not wear gloves outside of the laboratory. Utilize carts or carriers to transport research materials from lab to other support areas. If materials must be hand-carried, utilize one gloved hand and one non-gloved hand to allow for touching common area objects; e.g., door knobs, elevator buttons, etc.
Before removing them, wash the outside of the glove. To avoid accidental skin exposure, remove the first glove by grasping the cuff and peeling the glove off the hand so that the glove is inside out. Repeat this process with the second hand, touching the inside of the glove cuff, rather than the outside. Wash hands immediately with soap and water.

A safety net is a net to protect people from injury after falling from heights by limiting the distance they fall, and deflecting to dissipate the impact energy. The term also refers to devices for arresting falling or flying objects for the safety of people beyond or below the net. Safety nets are used in construction, building maintenance, entertainment, or other industries.
Construction Safety Net
Construction Safety nets are used at high- rise building construction sites for preventing accidental fall of people or objects from the site. Construction safety nets are the safest and cost effective fall prevention system in the world. Construction safety nets are flexible plastic nets made from HDPE or High-Density Polyethylene raw materials. Construction safety netting system is also known as debris netting which can be installed both horizontally or vertically according to the requirements. The best practice of construction netting is to wrap up the whole construction site from bottom to top, which works as a protection wall to prevent anything from falling without blocking the view. Safety net installation at any building site requires professional expertise and technical knowledge.
Purpose
This Best Practice Guideline covers the safety requirements and safe use of safety nets to protect people from being injured by a fall from a height. This information is for anyone who has to provide a safe place of work and make sure that all plant and equipment is safe. It describes best practice for:
vSafety net design principles vTypes and classifications of safety nets vSafety net components vInstalling of safety nets vInspection, repair and maintenance of safety net vSafe Use of Safety Net
vSafety nets installed below a high level work area reduce the distance a person can fall. vSafety nets are designed to deflect and absorb the energy of a fall so they reduce the likelihood of a person being injured. vThere must be enough clear space below the net so that as the net deflects, the person who hasfallen does not strike an obstacle or the ground.
vSafety nets allow people to work at height without restricting their movement.₹ 705 / pair Get Latest Price

Select PPE offers a wide range of footwear from our network of premium suppliers as well as from our House Brands, contributing to the levels of quality and specifications needed to perform the task at hand, putting your safety first. Safety footwear has various levels of protection. It is essential to ensure the correct level of protection depending on the potential hazards involved, to ensure maximum protection.
Injury Risks Include
vImpact from heavy objects, resulting in injuries vPotential Hazards include vFalling Objects vRolling objects vHeavy debris/Objects vSlipping vAbsorption of elements – such as water or oil vElectrical Hazards vWater, heat and cold resistance vPuncture and cut resistance vChemicals Work vHazardous chemicals
Safety footwear features
Toe Protection
Toe protection should withstand at least a 200 Joule impact. Joule is a unit of energy and this standard is purposefully specific as something heavy falling from a low height could have a lot less energy than something lighter from a higher point. As well as impacts, the toe area must withstand a resting mass of well over 1000kgs. Most people have heard of steel toe cap boots but the protection doesn’t have to be steel. In fact, there are advantages to alternatives. Non-metallic protection may be just as strong, but lighter.
Insole Penetration Protection
Sharp objects where we walk and stand are a significant risk not only in the workplace, but also outdoors and at home. Insole protection will guard against nails and other sharp objects. To meet this standard the footwear must be able to resist a penetration force of 1100 Newton. Insole protection is provided as either a stainless-steel insole or as an aluminum insole, or a synthetic anti penetration insole. The Aluminum and Kevlar solutions are the most flexible and lightest, and cover the greatest area of the foot. Kevlar insoles also offer much higher thermal insulation.

Ear protection refers to devices used to protect the ear, either externally from elements such as cold, intrusion by water and other environmental conditions, debris. High levels of exposure to noise may result in noise-induced hearing loss. Devices for that purpose are called hearing protection devices. Using hearing protection on construction sites is crucial because it safeguards workers against hearing loss. It can also enhance communication, reduce workplace accidents, and improve job quality.
WHY IS HEARING PROTECTION IMPORTANT DURING CONSTRUCTION?
Using ear protection during construction is vital. Here are four adverse effects you can prevent with proper hearing protection:
1.Hearing Loss
Exposure to high levels of noise can cause permanent hearing loss. Permanent hearing loss is
irreversible, even with hearing aids or surgery. Permanent hearing loss usually occurs gradually, making it challenging to realize it is happening until it’s too late. However, a single loud noise can also damage the ear enough to cause permanent hearing loss.
Hearing loss can also be temporary, depending on the level and extent of exposure. Some experience conditions like tinnitus or ringing in the ear when exposed to loud noises.
2.Increase in Accidents
Communication is fundamental on construction job sites. It helps workers coordinate and execute the project as required. Communication also reduces accidents during construction, considering that multiple activities usually go on simultaneously. Loud noise can make it challenging to hear warning
signals, leading to more accidents at the work site. Ultimately, noise limits your workers’ ability to hear high frequencies, understand speech, and communicate effectively.
3.Social IsolationThe effect of hearing damage can transcend beyond the construction site. When communication is limited, a worker’s ability to interact with others is restrained, which can affect their quality of life. It makes socializing with friends and family or participating in usual activities challenging.
4.Decrease in ProductivityIntense noise can reduce focus. It causes distraction which can decrease productivity and job quality. The construction industry requires attention to detail, making it essential to ensure all workers are adequately prepped and well-equipped to perform optimally.
